I remember back those days, the feeling of having your first Pen Tablet, urging to draw or paint something, and you cannot control yourself creating even you know your skills sucks.

Feels familiar right?

Yes, the one on the left was one of my first artworks I've done using my pen tablet. T'was year 2009, The pen tablet I've used to create on the left piece was also used to create on the right piece.

I wanted to prove and show that, I've learned a lot after 3 years, without upgrading my tablet. 3 years worth of learning, from browsing GODLIKE Artworks on the net, saving inspirations, learning the basic fundamentals of art, including the elements, principles, compositions and stuff.

I also remember what I told to myself back those years,

"Patience and perseverance" Am I right?

It's every artists' dreams, to be great and to be well-known.
As time flies, we can be one of them, "YOU CAN BE ONE OF THEM".

I also experienced the feeling of motivation lost, its when you saw an artwork that has, GODLIKE COLOR! GODLIKE DETAILS! etc. etc.! bla bla bla! WHICH I REALIZED IS WRONG.

The missing ingredient to absorb GODLIKE artworks to yourself is your confidence. Sometimes you're losing hope. REMEMBER! God gave you this talent! Just be confident, use your talent and tell yourself to be one of them someday.

I learned more and more not by browsing best artworks and not by practicing everyday, I realized that this is not enough.. There's one thing I discovered from my senior artists that really helped me a lot. It's by surrounding yourself with AWESOME people, AWESOME ARTISTS, Meet and greet if there's a chance you know. It motivates you greatly and you can really learn a lot from them.

I learned also being humble enough if someone praises you work, being kind if someone critiqued your work. I know some artists, doesn't like critiques. It's their lost, no more challenge for them. Don't be one of them, accept the critique, think carefully and absorb it.

There'a a looooooooooooong way ahead of us, the world is huge. We must never ever give up my friend.

Am I a successful artist already? The answer is "NO", we artists must not stop learning everyday.

To all my fellow artists, young and senior, Good luck and God bless to our career.
